ABIJAH & DUB STATION on stage doing the song: "Live"
Kicking off their 20-city tour at the end of 2006, Dub Station & Abijah, featuring Tom O'Brien performed the Monterey Bay Reggae Festival. This lively capture showcases the video talents of Luke Archer, as well as how the group comes across in a Festival context. |

ABIJAH music video "Revelation"
Abijah's hit in Jamaica, "Revelation" reached #1 and stayed on the charts for many weeks. It introduced him, as well as an acoustic flavored style to the pantheon of Jamaican legends. This video captures Abijah at the meteoric start of his career, and is an impressive piece of video artistry. |

ABIJAH music video for "Overcome"
Recorded in Boston under the auspices of Above the Rest Entertainment, this video captures the collaboration of Abijah with R&B crooner Tevin Campbell. It tells a story and brilliantly conveys the uplifting message of the song: "...we shall overcome." |

TOM O'BRIEN & DUB STATION live: "Trouble on the Road"
Recorded at legendary nightspot Johnny D's Uptown (videographer D-Nyce) - the first Tom O'Brien spotlight apart from his extensive touring with Abijah (and a few shows at Bill's Bar over the past few years) - it was something of a fresh start, cause it featured a whole semi-acoustic opening set, which is new for the group. This version of "Trouble on the Road" (originally recorded by Bob Marley in his earlier, more obscure period) was something of a theme song on tour, and features (differently from our recorded version) an entrancing acoustic introduction. |

TOM O'BRIEN & DUB STATION live: "Karma"
One of the only songs started by the bass, this warning to wicked forces about the power of Karma has Tom O'Brien "...dance on your grave, feel it in the cold ground" (in other words: we will survive your oppression). Also recorded at Johnny D's Uptown, the band featured a reunion of original Dub Station players Kyle Russell (bass), Charlie Thorpe (drums) and Rider McCoy (keys), as well as newer, but versatile (sax & guitar) player Frankie Moniz, and debuting with Dub Station (on percussion) D-Nyce (aka D-nice & DJ Star David), who also set up the video shoot. |

Kingdom Rise, Kingdom Fall conference, Harvard University
This festival conference was organized to bring together the spritually oriented traditions of Rastafarian and Gospel Reggae under the aegis of world renowned Harvard University. Many individuals, including videographer "Dinky" Dawson, mastermind (and narrator) Kevin "Black Starliner" Aylmer, Ras Junior (R.I.P.), and Kyle Russell (creator of this site) were instrumental in its organization & promotion. Drummer Glen Grant was in the band (with Matt Jenson) backing Judy Mowatt. At about 2:28, Denroy Morgan (father of the Morgan Heritage clan) speaks some words of wisdom (infinitely more powerful in person, and in their entirety, unfortunately not here posted) and brings in Abijah, performing an acoustic version of "Revelation." Later, Morgan Heritage performs in this brief summary of a memorable and landmark event. |
